WAITROSE YEAR OF POETRY COMPETITION

This is me with my winning entry in the Waitrose Year of Poetry competition. I am pictured in the Colchester branch of Waitrose. Here is that Poem:

THE CAULIFLOWER

A strange flower is the cauliflower
I've yet to see one bloom,
It's not the sort of flower
To decorate a room.

No fragrant scent to smell,
Or coloured petals that please.
But it's the only kind of flower
That's delicious to eat with cheese
