WHAT IS A HAIKU?
A Haiku is a form of poetry that consists of just three lines with a total of seventeen syllables. The first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the third line reverts back to five syllables. Below is my attempt at a Haiku which also acts as a description of the art form. Once you have read mine, have a go yourself and feel free to post them in the comments box. Have fun. Robert M Lidster
